How can I explain the virus to my child?

As part of the "Sendung mit der Maus" program, Westdeutsche Rundfunk has put together child-friendly information, including also short explanatory videos (e.g. on the virus and its consequences for the lives of children).

A picture book for preschool and elementary school children. This can be downloaded and printed out at home. The children can fill in and color some of the pages themselves.

A book in English illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

The book answers key questions in simple language appropriate for 5 to 9 year olds.
