Network Body Dysmorphic Disorder (KDS-Net)

Completed third-party funded project (at the TU Braunschweig, applicant: Dr. A. Grocholewski)

Aims of the KDS network: The KDS-Net consists of seven researchers from Germany who are located at six different universities. With the involvement of other leading German and European researchers as guests, the aim is to lead to a stronger German and European networking of the research area in order to strengthen cooperation and thus realize corresponding large-scale projects. In addition, existing care structures are to be standardized, strengthened and improved and the not yet sufficiently well-known disorder is to be brought to the attention of the German public in order to counteract the stigmatization of those affected and to facilitate access to psychotherapy funded by the German Research Foundation.
