This event is organized by our working group Culture in Practice and Transfer - Public Anthropology (#PublicANT) at the Institute of Anthropology and Cultural Research (IfEK) with the support of the Internationalization Fund and Worlds of Contradiction (WOC), in collaboration with BNCL (Bremen Nature Culture Lab), Institute for Art History - Film Studies - Art Education (IKFK), and Bremer Institute of Cultural Research (bik e.V.). 

Our team member Dr. Shivani Kaul will moderate the event that will feature talks by Prof. Dr. Andrea Mühlebach (IfEK), Prof. Dr. Kerstin Brandes (IKFK), and Prof. Dr. Nasima Selim (IfEK).

A special aspect of our event is the film screening of Friends of Jilipibala and the post-screening exchange with the director and cinematographer Debalina Majumder who is our 2026 Resident Artist and Scholar at IfEK.
