Lecture: Masculinities: Diaspora, Racialization, and Rights Radicalization by Dr. Sertan Batur

To what extent do social inequalities and racializing social attributions influence processes of radicalization?

Using the example of the right-wing extremist organization “Grey Wolves,” the event explores how notions of masculinity are politicized in diasporic realities. The focus is on the interrelationships between masculinity politics, right-wing authoritarian patterns of radicalization, racializing structures, and prevention approaches.
