Physio:logical! – The podcast from the physiotherapy program

Physiotherapy students and Jeremy Hookway demonstrated how learning can be creative and practical in their English module at Bremen University of Applied Sciences. With their project “Physio:logical!”, they deliberately stepped outside their comfort zone and produced exciting podcast episodes.

In the episodes, the students talk about the latest physiotherapy topics in English, practice their language skills, work as a team, and create professional audio productions. The result has also been well received internationally, with listeners from Canada, Australia, and the US.

The latest episodes are based on exciting research topics that were discussed at the Physio Symposium in November 2025 at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen with more than 300 experts. The topics range from pain management and innovative treatment approaches to exercises for specific stages of life. In this way, the students convey complex knowledge in an understandable, practical way and with a great deal of enthusiasm.
