For parents of infants or scientists caring for relatives, these trips represent an almost insurmountable obstacle. In this context the project "go d!verse" aims to draw particular attention to unconscious discrimination processes in scientific personnel selection</p> <p>MAPEX and the go d!verse team offer the following workshop, taking place 6th and 7th March 2019:</p> <h5>"Professional, gender- and diversity-based personnel selection in science"</h5> <p>The selection of employees significantly contributes to the success of a project. This workshop offers you the opportunity to further develop your skills in the field of professional personnel selection in the scientific context. The seven central elements of a personnel selection process will be examined and specific measures will be presented that can help to improve the selection process and reduce discriminatory moments. The participants will get to know the "implicit bias" (unconscious distortions and preferences) as well as possibilities to reflect on it. </p> <p>This workshop aims at scientists in leading positions who are or will be involved in personnel selection processes. </p> <p>The workshop was organised for you by MAPEX and the go d!verse team as part of the pilot project go d!verse - gender and diversity competent personnel selection.
