Dr Caroline Grauel has been working as an external doctoral candidate in the Innovative Brand Management working group under the supervision of Prof. Dr Burmann since 2023. In addition to her full-time job as a consultant, Dr Grauel wrote her cumulative dissertation entitled ‘Sustainability Meets Luxury: Understanding and Overcoming the Green Gap in Luxury Consumer Behaviour’. As part of her research, Dr. Caroline Grauel focused in particular on the influence of art infusion on the desirability of sustainable luxury products, thus making an important contribution to understanding the attitude-behaviour gap in the field of luxury brand management.
