Dr. Maria Keil has been a research assistant in the research group “Retail and Logistics Management” of Prof. Dr. Matthias Klumpp since April 2025.

In 2025, she completed her doctorate at Technical University of Darmstadt. The title of her cumulative dissertation is “The Human Factor in Logistics: Physiological and Psychological Insights regarding Truck Drivers.” Her research focuses particularly on the fields of logistics, human factors, occupational and health psychology, as well as physiological and psychological stress in the transportation sector.

She has been a medical technologist in radiology since 2008 and completed a diploma in Health Care Management in 2013, a B.A. in Business and Management in 2015, and an M.Sc. in Business Psychology in 2018.
