Everybody had enjoyed this program so much that only one year later, 2016, both ensembles produced a sequel. The classical music of Latin America is so overwhelming in its great variety and wealth that one semester is not at all sufficient to discover it. Nearly forgotten was the fact that the musically related but secular "Odysseus" by Max Bruch also started its career here. Universally beloved in the 19th century, it was only rarely performed since 1900. The orchestra played among other pieces <span lang="es" dir="ltr">Arturo Márquez</span>' much beloved Danzón No. 2, the choir sung the premiere of “Caissa’s Mind”, a choral cycle of eight tangos for chorus and piano, which <span lang="es" dir="ltr">Juan María Solare</span> composed especially for the University Bremen Chorus.
