Evaluation & Surveys

Evaluations of teaching constitute an important tool for obtaining student feedback. Their implementation is the responsibility of the Faculties, which coordinate the methods and instruments to fit their specific needs. We provide an overview of the centrally supported possibilities of teaching evaluation of their programs, suggestions for further procedures and information on data privacy.

Student surveys provide detailed information on the quality of studies, the level of satisfaction with study offers, or on specific problems encountered during studies. The student surveys carried out at the University of Bremen always take place in the summer semester, at which time the 2^nd- and 6^th-semester students on the bachelor's program and the 4^th semester on the master's program are surveyed.

The graduate surveys provide feedback on the quality of studies from another perspective. One to one and a half years after graduation, the graduates are asked to participate in a survey and give their assessment of the quality of studies offered by the University of Bremen as well as their experience of transition to another study program or their professional occupation.
