UNIcert I (B1)
With the UNIcert® I certificate, you demonstrate language proficiency at the B1 level, which means you
- have basic skills for general, academic, and professional situations
- understand factual information and can identify main ideas and important details
- can express information clearly and in a structured manner
- can support cross-cultural communication and use your plurilingual repertoire flexibly
At the SZHB, you can obtain UNIcert® I for 5 languages in total

Your Path to Certification - an Overview
1. You must have completed both courses and passed the corresponding final exams.
2. Cross-entry is possible (see the blue box); however, in all cases, you must successfully complete Course B1.2 at the SZHB.
3. Note: All UNIcert® courses require a minimum attendance rate of 80 percent.
4. The UNIcert® certificate can be requested after successfully completing the highest course level (B1.2).
