M.Sc. Isabel-Maria Ramirez y Medina

Isabel-Maria was born in Bremen (Germany) in 1991. In 2011, she started studying chemistry at the University of Bremen. She wrote her bachelor thesis with the title “Synthese von Dipyrromethenonen und Bilindionen als Gallenfarbstoffmodelle und Bausteine für Porphyrinoide” at the Montforts Group and obtained her bachelor´s degree (2014).
In December 2015, she joined the Staubitz Group for her scientific internship and completed there her master´s degree in 2016. At the moment she is doing her Ph.D., working on the synthesis and (opto-)electronical characterization of heterocycles containing Zr, Sn,and B.Furthermore, she wants to investigate the synthesis and application of novel polymers containing stannole units.
