Ph. D. Student
Originally from Fushun, China, Shuo got his education from schools in Berlin and Ilmenau, Germany. After receiving the Abitur in 2010, he studied at LMU Munich, working in Prof. Dr. Carell’s lab on “Primer Extension with Pyrazole Ligandoside” for the BSc and in Prof. Dr. Zipse’s lab on DMAP-catalyzed acylation reactions for the MSc of Chemistry degree. In January 2017, Shuo joined the group of Prof. Dr. Staubitz in CAU Kiel to take up the SFB 677 project dealing with switchable chromophores and their incorporation in polymers. Shuo moved to Bremen in 2020 to complete his thesis on molecular switches.
