In general, such programs are integrated into existing degree programs.</p> <p>It is an effective and worthwhile opportunity where the cooperation partners agree on a long-term collaboration and present the students a joint and coordinated course program as a binding option for studying abroad.</p> <p>The university management expressly welcomes and supports faculties that decide to coordinate this for their degree programs. Overall, it usually takes at least two years from the first communication between the cooperation partners to the start of the program. More time should be planned for programs with very early application deadlines, as well as for joint degrees, in which even more intensive coordination with the partner(s) and usually an accreditation are necessary.
