StudienlotsInnen (Study Pilots)

What's it like to study? Find out! With the Study Pilot project, you can even get a taste of what studying is all about before you start at the University. By doing so, you benefit from the experience of students who are already enrolled: The study pilots of the University of Bremen are students from different disciplines who are happy to answer your questions and take you with them into their day-to-day academic life on campus.

You tell us whether you would just like to get to know the University a little better or know more about topics that interest you or your desired study course, and we arrange a suitable study pilot for you. You then meet at the University and go along to a course with him or her, get shown around the campus, and gain an impression of what it’s like to be student. Over a coffee or lunch in the canteen, you have the opportunity to discuss your questions and exchange ideas – about studies or student life.

Even in the so-called semester break, we can arrange for you to meet a study pilot with whom you can exchange ideas and explore the campus. However, joining classes is possible only in the periods from April to the beginning of July and from October to the end of January.
