It is laid out when and how responsibility arises. Basic moral values will be introduced, and together with common moral theories, these will be applied to several typical case studies in engineering. Various Codes of Ethics will be analyzed and discussed. We will also discuss values in the design process, environmental ethics, and space ethics. There is a reading assignment to every session, which is a text from a pool consisting of introductory teaching material, Codes of Ethics from various organizations and papers about Engineering Ethics.
