Research Assistant (f/m/d)
(Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 19.6 hours per week)
for the duration of 3 years.

The applicable time limit for academic qualification is regulated by § 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz). Accordingly, your application can be considered if you still have the corresponding number of qualification periods in accordance with Section 2 (1) WissZeitVG.

Your tasks:

  • Scientific services in teaching to the extent of 2 SWS, including imparting specialist knowledge and practical skills as well as instruction in the application of scientific methods in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes to the extent of the applicable LVNV, teaching export (= subject-specific teaching for other teaching units), in addition:
    • Supervision of study groups
    • Preparation of teaching materials
  • Scientific services in research, collaboration in research projects
  • If applicable, own scientific work, e.g.
    • Independent research in connection with a doctorate
  • Other university tasks, such as participation in academic self-administration

Requirements

  • First state examination in law or comparable academic degree (Master/Uni-Diploma), with above-average results;
  • Academic interest in civil law, commercial and corporate law;
  • Ability to carry out independent and thorough academic work;
  • Organizational and communication skills as well as very good oral and written communication skills in German;
  • Good knowledge of English is an advantage.
