The visit covered ground as varied as the campus itself, touching on sustainable mobility, building renovations, the campus park, energy supply, student housing, and overall quality of life on campus.
 

University President Jutta Günther and Director of Finance and Administration Frauke Meyer welcomed the visitors. Staff from the Administrative Department of Facilities Management joined the department heads for a campus tour that ran from the VWG administration building to the energy center, through the catacombs beneath the university boulevard, and into the Sports Tower building. 

Along the way, they opened doors – literally and figuratively – to rarely visited spots and utility areas across campus, giving the visiting group an insight into how the university actually runs day to day.
