WiWiB e.V., the association supporting the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics, is calling for support for our partner universities in Kyjiw and Odesa (Ukraine). Donations will be collected via the WiWiB e.V. association account and then forwarded to the two partner universities. The fundraising campaign will run until January 31, 2026.
The Faculty of Economics has maintained a very close cooperation with the Kyjiw National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) for many years and, since December 2024, with the Odesa National Economic University (ONEU) as well. Many joint activities have been carried out during the long-standing partnership with KNEU. Among other things, the International Advanced Student Program for KNEU students was launched in the winter semester 2022/2023. Similar activities are planned for the still young partnership with ONEU.
Both partnerships stand for the internationalization of the Faculty of Business studies and Economics, a lively scientific exchange between scientists and students, and personal contacts, which are severely strained by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Right now, our partner universities urgently need support to maintain teaching and research activities in Ukraine under the most difficult conditions of the Russian attack, especially on civilian infrastructure. With your donation, you can make a concrete contribution to securing the work on site and relieving the burden on students and staff in Kyjiw and Odesa.
An initial fundraising campaign with donations in kind to Kyiv National Economic University was already carried out at the end of 2022 / beginning of 2023. We would like to thank our support association WiWiB e.V., which now offers another opportunity to donate via its association account.
