Wiwib e.V., an association of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics at the University of Bremen, and the Handelskammer Bremen – IHK für Bremen und Bremerhaven have honored outstanding theses for SME Research 2024/2025 at the historic Haus Schütting. Three outstanding theses were recognised across the categories Bachelor, Master and Doctorate.
The Bachelor Prize was awarded to Pauline Gantzer for her thesis "Crafting the Digital Frontier: Navigating the Intersection of Tradition and Technology in Craft Businesses". In the Master category, Anika Hellrung was recognised for her study "Künstliche Intelligenz in der Leadgenerierung: Vergleich von traditionellen und KI-gestützten Methoden". The Doctoral Prize was awarded to Dr. Dierck Tietje for his empirical study "Wirkung einer Familienverfassung auf Konflikte in Familienunternehmen – Eine empirische Untersuchung anhand deutscher Unternehmerfamilien".
The prizes recognise theses that address the key challenges facing small and medium-sized enterprises.
