Three presentations of the Chair of ABWL and Logistics Management at the 6th Colloquium on European Research in Retailing (CERR) 2021

The 6th Colloquium on European Research in Retailing 2021 was held from 15 to 17 July 2021, hosted by SKEMA Business School in Sophia Antipolis, France and organised in a hybrid format.

The idea of founding a platform for European retail researchers working on marketing, logistics and operational processes in retail was born in 2011 in cooperation with the University of Bremen. The founding members are the Professors Xavier Brusset (SKEMA Business School, France), Herbert Kotzab (University of Bremen) and Christoph Teller (Johannes Kepler University Linz).

 

The thematic focus of this year's CERR 2021 was resilience in retail for the time after the Covid-19 pandemic. Sandra Luttermann presented the topic „Last mile logistics options for individual food delivery under sustainable aspects“. This article was prepared in cooperation with Markus Trapp, Prof. Dr. Herbert Kotzab and Prof. Dr. Michael Freitag. Bastian Mrutzek presented the results of the research work, which was developed together with Prof. Dr. Herbert Kotzab, Sascha Kühling and Assoc. Prof. Işık Özge Yumurtaci Hüseyinoglu (Izmir University of Economics, Turkey).The title of the presentation was „Omni-channel retailing – resources and capabilities of SME specialty retailers in Germany”. In addition, Bastian Mrutzek presented the topic of „Customer perspective of omni-channel retailing in the German specialty retailing sector of marine aquaristics“, in cooperation with Daniela Leitschuh and Prof. Dr. Herbert Kotzab. This paper is a continuation of the research work of Daniela Leitschuh's Master's thesis.
