Wirtschaftspsychologie M.Sc. (Business Psychology)

Contemporary social change calls into question traditional industrial values, forms of life, work and organization. In all areas of life, the consequences of increasing flexibility can be observed: the globalization of markets is changing the conditions and structural conditions for companies and employees. Due to the increasing informalization and mechanization, traditional job descriptions are undergoing a radical change, they disappear altogether or have to be redesigned for the knowledge of society. The accompanying expansion of the service society places new demands on professional self-management and entrepreneurial initiative. In the service economy employment conditions increase under precarious conditions. As a result, phenomena of deregulation and delimitation appear on an objective as well as on a subjective level. Researchers, scientists and educators are urged to make their contribution to overcoming the problems in the face of profound changes. In addition to research into the effects of flexibility, the question of resources is about re-regulating and shaping this relationship on an economic, organizational and psycho-social level.
