Summer Lab 2020

The Summer School is part of our Summer Lab program, which was first held in 2018. The Summer Lab is part of a collaborative program with Coventry University (UK) and the State University of New York (USA) with students from Binghamton University and Stony Brook University. It is an exclusive program that is not open to other guest students.

The Summer Lab contains three building blocks and takes place annually from June to August:

  1. Summer School "Business Studies and Economics": 6 weeks, beginning of June
  2. Language Summer School of the Language Center (FZHB): 4 weeks after the end of the lecture period of the summer semester
  3. Praxis Summer Camp: 3 weeks in August

The Summer Lab is an internationally unique offer that gives students the chance to experience everyday life in Germany for up to three months. In the summer school, international students work together with Bremen students. They will get to know the German culture and language in the Language Summer School, which takes into account individual language levels. They also gain hands-on experience at the Praxis Summer Camp, where they also work with local students to carry out projects for local companies. Further information about the Summer Lab can be found here.
