The focus is set on multiple complementary and interdisciplinary projects.</p> <p>The basic fields of study are </p> <ul> <li>the individual requirements for social science learning, and the resulting consequences for the practice of social science education</li> <li>the specific conditions of teaching in the social science domain</li> <li>the implementation and evaluation of school and extracurricular social science education (research-theory-practice-reflection)</li> </ul> <p>The ZeDiS ensures the education and promotion of young researchers through regular structured courses in the field of methods of didactic teaching and learning research.
