Simon Gerards Iglesias has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of History at the University of Bremen since 2019. His dissertation thesis on the history of the International Labour Organization in Argentina is part of the Collaborative Research Center 1342: Global Dynamics of Social Policy. Key areas of his research are transnational knowledge processes and the communication strategies of international organisations. He is also engaged in digital university teaching and digital history. Simon Gerards Iglesias studied economics and economic and social history in Heidelberg, Göttingen and Buenos Aires.
