Member of ZeMKI-Lab: "Sustainability in digtal societies"
Since March 2022, Anna Schröder has been a research assistant at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research at the Lab "Sustainability in Digital Societies" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sigrid Kannengießer. She completed her two-subject Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and Art, Media and Aesthetic Education in 2017 and dealt with the change in political values in children's radio play series using the example of Benjamin Blümchen in her final thesis. In her Master's degree programme in Media Culture at the University of Bremen, she focused on topics of social movements and sustainability and examined the visual representation of protest in her Master's thesis "Welcome to Hell" Visuelle Protestkommunikation in den deutschen Massenmedien am Beispiel der #NoG20-Proteste in Hamburg 2017". During her Master's degree, she was a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium. She was also employed as a student assistant at Zemki from 2015 to 2020 and was involved in a variety of different research projects.
