Vita
Hannah Grünenthal studied religious studies, modern Indology and psychology in Heidelberg. In 2021 she received her doctorate at the University of Bremen on the subject of authority constructions and localization processes in the Catholic Church using the example of charismatic renewal in the Catholic Church. As a research associate at the Institute for Religious Studies and Religious Education Bremen from 2013 to 2019, she examined positions and negotiation processes of religious actors in times of profound mediatization, including in the Creative Unit of the ZeMKI. Since 2022 she has been researching the role of religious organizations in society in the wake of the corona pandemic as part of the international research project "ReCov-19" ("The Changing Role of Religion in Societies Emerging from Covid-19").
