Alexander Ohlei is member in the Lab "Datafication and Mediatization", where he is working on the project "molo.news: On the validation of a relational platform for urban publics".

In addition to his project activities, Alexander Ohlei is working on his doctorate on the topic of "Augmented Reality Authoring as a Tool for Dynamic Exhibition Development for Museums". Before joining the University of Bremen, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Multimedia and Interactive Systems at the University of Lübeck in the DFG-funded project "Ambient Learning Spaces" and conducted research primarily in the field of augmented, mixed and virtual reality.
