New Special Issue: Dr. Erik Koenen is co-editor of the current Open Issue of medien & zeit

Together with Christina Krakovsky, Maria Löblich, Mike Meißner and Hendrik Michael, Erik Koenen has edited the new Open Issue of medien & zeit. The Open Issue is published annually and provides space for contributions from all areas of research in communication and media history.

The current issue contains articles on hacker newsletters in the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1980s (Julia Gül Erdogan), on the medial mediation of historical images through Netflix (Daria Gordeeva), on the journalist Martha Maria Gehrke (Sabine H. Thöle) and on digital research into the history of literary journalism (Jonathan D. Fitzgerald).
