It addresses content moderation by platforms has been the subject of significant regulatory intervention recently, most notably through the CDSM Directive and the Digital Services Act (DSA). It's time to take a step back and look at accountability - what is the current situation and what should the future look like?
At this workshop, we will explore the rules for content moderation and removal at the EU and national levels and how they interact with the legal framework, as well as the impact of removal practices and technologies on access and diversity.
