Prof.Dr. Bettina Rösken-Winter is Professor for Design-Based Research at the Humboldt University Berlin and member of the board of the DZLM (Deutsches Zentrum für Lehrerbildung Mathematik) the German Center for teacher education in Mathematics,. Since October 2010, she serves as Administrative Manager of the International group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME).
Her main areas of expertise are:
- design-based research,
- research on beliefs
- research on professional development of teachers
- research on higher education in mathematics for science, techniques, engineering, and on academic mathematics (STEM).
Prof.em.Dr.Dr.h.c.mult. Helmut Fend is Professor Emiritus for Educational Psychology of the Educational Institute of the University of Zurich (UZH). Prior to his retirement he held the chair for Educational Psychology.
