"Cross-Section" Research

In their "cross-section" research, the members of the application-group are working from their different subject specific perspective on the following questions:

a) How and in what way do the learning arrangements initiate and contribute to change in teaching practice?

b) Regarding the massive changes in (Bremens) school systems and the increasing diversity of the students: How has learning and teaching to be developed furher?


The methodological approach are qualiative interviews with the involved teachers of the phd-projects and the aim is to combine the different subject-specific perspectives in order to reconstruct the teachers beliefs and their view on school development.
