The mandatory new WiFi login configuration will be the only way to log into the campus WiFi starting July 10th, 2019. By July 9th, 2019, your WiFi credentials must conform to the new login configuration on all the devices you use. It is strongly recommended to complete updating your login configuration BEFORE July 9th, 2019.
If you have not completed the changes by then, you can no longer use the eduroam WiFi via your university account world-wide.
The technical reasons that make these changes necessary can be found in our previous announcement:
To check whether your devices are already configured correctly, log in with your university account credentials (which you are also using for e-mail or StudIP) at the following link:
The easiest way to reconfigure your devices is to use the eduroam “Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT)”, which simplifies the configuration process significantly:
Configuration Guides for several operating systems as well as our contact information with respect to further questions or configuration support can be found on our overview page:
We strongly advise not to wait until the last moment to adapt your configuration. Naturally, our support capacity is limited – even though our technical support will be bolstered up upon closing in on the deadline on July 10th, 2019.
