Sync'n'Share

The university's cloud storage (sync'n'share) makes it easy to synchronize files across different devices and to distribute work materials to colleagues or students.

Usage is similar to the well known Dropbox, but all data is stored on servers of the university.

Use the following information to configure the client or access the web interface:

You manage user groups for shared access to materials with the group manament tool.

Access via WebDAV

As an alternative to the Seafile client, you can use a WebDAV client to synchronize a library. Encrypted libraries cannot be synchronized using WebDAV.

Backup

The Zentrum für Netze supports you in backing up workstations on campus and offers you the possibility of backing up your documents on a central backup server.

Network Drive

Every university account includes storage space on the university's servers, which can be used flexibly via SFTP, Windows network share (CIFS/SMB 2.0) or RDP. The storage space can also be accessed via the webmailer's file manager.
