Open Educational Resources (OER) are educational materials of any kind that are published under an open licence (e.g. Creative Commons (CC)). CC licences allow free access as well as free use, editing and redistribution by others without or with minor restrictions. OER can be, for example, books, exercise sheets, lecture notes and other texts, but also photos, videos, audio files, databases, software, apps and web applications (UNESCO).

You can find OER in numerous portals and on websites.
With open licences (e.g. Creative Commons) you can eigenes Material als OER lizenzieren . The Licence generator from Creative Commons supports you in choosing the licence.
