Communication and information

The choice of the appropriate communication tool should depend on the size of the group and the technical possibilities of your target group. In large groups, a rather asynchronous communication or an open structure of communication spaces is recommended in order to address as many people as possible at the same time and not to have to provide important information several times (e.g. announcements, information page, forum, message to all). The more people you want to reach, the clearer your communication channels should be and the less it will be possible to use direct communication channels such as individual emails and video conferences. In smaller groups and research teams, more technically and interpersonally complex tools such as chats, video conferences or virtual classrooms can also be used. Remember that not all students are technically equipped to conduct videoconferences or Virtual Classroom scenarios.
