Welcome to the University of Bremen and to the course programmes B.A. English-Speaking Cultures (Major, minor and Teacher training options) and MA Programme E-SC in the winter term 2023/24. We are happy to welcome you all in person in class and in our welcome sessions for newly registered students. Please come along to our mandatory induction sessions and enjoy all extracurricular events organised by the StugA E-SC.

SESSION 1 - Introduction to BA English-Speaking Cultures (Bachelor)
This introductory meeting will inform students about the University of Bremen, the study programme, student representatives, different study options, counselling services and sports programmes as well as to introduce you to all faculty members who are present on the day.

Auslandsstudium in Kanada im Austauschjahr 2023/24
Studierende aller Fachbereiche der Universität Bremen haben die Möglichkeit im Austauschjahr 2023/24 für ein Trimester an einer der vier kanadischen Partneruniversitäten der Universität Bremen (University of Guelph, University of Guelph-Humber, University of Ottawa, Université de Montréal) zu studieren. Unter Erlass der üblichen Studiengebühren können dort verschiedene Kurse belegt und Kreditpunkte gesammelt werden. Bewerbungsschluss für das Herbsttrimester (September-Dezember) und auch für das Wintertrimester (Januar-April) ist der 31. Januar 2023. Study in Canada in the exchange year 2023/24
In the exchange year 2023/24, students from all faculties have the opportunity to study one trimester at one of the four Canadian partner universities of the University of Bremen (University of Guelph, University of Guelph-Humber, University of Ottawa, Université de Montréal). Students will not have to pay the substantial tuition fees and they can choose from various courses in order to collect credit points. The application deadline for the autumn trimester (September-December) and also for the winter trimester (January-April) is 31 January 2023. Auslandsstudium am Dickinson College (USA) im Austauschjahr 2023/24
Im Rahmen der Partnerschaft zwischen der Universität Bremen und dem Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, können Studierende aller Fachbereiche mit einem Stipendium ein komplettes akademisches Jahr oder ein Semester (Januar-Mai) in den USA absolvieren. Bewerbungsschluss ist der 31. Januar 2023 (full year) / 31. August 2023 (spring semester). Study abroad at Dickinson College (US) in the exchange year 2023/24
As part of the cooperation between the University of Bremen and Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, students from all faculties can apply for a scholarship to spend a full academic year or a semester (January-May) in the US. The application deadline is 31 January 2023 (full year) / 31 August 2023 (spring semester).
