The Bremen Supercomputing Competence Center BremHLR organizes a course on
    Parallel Programming with MPI and OpenMP
from
    September 16-20, 2024 at the University of Bremen.

Workshop Contents: This course introduces to parallel programming. The main focus is on the parallel programming models MPI and OpenMP. Exercises will be an essential part of the workshop. The course will be held in English.

Lecturers: The course is given by Dr. Hinnerk Stüben (University of Hamburg) and Dr. Lars Nerger (BremHLR and Alfred Wegener Institute, Bremerhaven).

Participation: The course is open to all interested students or members of the University of Bremen, Hochschule Bremen, Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Hochschule Bremerhaven and other users of HLRN/NHR.

Prerequisites: Solid fundamentals in Unix as well as C or Fortran will be essential!
