End of teaching period in the summer term 2016

We had a successful and inspiring teaching period during the summer term 2016, teaching seven courses in the field of innovation economics, econometrics, and history of economic thought.

Iciar Dominguez Lacasa also gave a lecture in international economics at the Martin Luther University in Halle. Jutta Günther became a member of the Committee for Evolutionary Economics (Verein für Socialpolitik). Björn Jindra handed in his Habilitation thesis at our Faculty in Bremen. Tobias Wendler and Ella Wentland joined our working group as new members. We congratulate Philipp Marek for his new position at the Deutsche Bundesbank, which he will start in September 2016. Judyta Lubacha-Sember successfully finished her project as a visiting PhD candidate (DAAD) with us. Furthermore, during the summer term, we were happy to host a number of international guest researchers and lecturers, among them Patrik Guggenberger from Pennsylvania State University in the US, Igor Yegorov from the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine, Dirk Meissner and Ksenia Gonchar form Higher School of Economics Moscow/Russia, John Hall from Portland State University in the US and Maciej Grodzicki from Jagiellonian University in Cracow/Poland.
