The workshop was organized by Jutta Guenther (University of Bremen), Michael Roos (Ruhr University Bochum), Muhamed Kudic (University of Bremen), and Sidonia von Proff (Philipps University Marburg).

Over two days, researchers from several universities and institutes gave presentations and took part in constructive discussions within the framework of economic networks and structural dynamics. Iciar Dominguez Lacasa from the University of Bremen presented a research paper entitled "Technological Knowledge Networks in China: The Case of Photovoltaics Technology", which is a joint work with Mahmood Shubbak.

After its two years of success, the next EAEPE RA [X] 'Networks' Workshop will take place at the University of Bremen in November 2017.
