Maria Kristalova presented at the Jena Lecture in Economic Geography

On May 7 to 8, 2018 the "Jena Lecture in Economic Geography" (JLS) took place on "Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development - Concepts and Measurements" at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers had an opportunity to present their current research and discuss with this year's special guest and keynote speaker Maryann Feldman. She is the Heninger Distinguished Professor in the Department of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina, an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Research Director at UNC Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise. Maria Kristalova presented a paper entitled "Co-evolution of innovation and public innovation subsidies – long term effects on economic development in German regions", co-authored with Uwe Cantner, Eva Dettmann, Alexander Giebler and Jutta Günther.
