There were many highlights, such as the successful PhD graduation of Mahmood Shubbak in March and Marion Cornelia Schwärzler in October this year. As in the years before, we had many international visitors engaged in scientific cooperation or teaching with us: Tomasz Geodecki (Cracow University of Economics), Ksenia Gonchar (Higher School of Economics Moscow), Nerina Guri (London School of Economics), Judyta Lubacha-Sember (Jagiellonian University, Kraków) and Andrey Yakovlev (Higher School of Economics Moscow). In summer, a group of students and teachers from Coventry University visited our Faculty in Bremen, and we are looking forward to continue all these valuable cooperation in research and teaching. Furthermore, we were happy to organise a number of scientific workshops and conferences, such as within the INNcentive Program for young innovation scholars in Bremen, the EAEPE workshop on “Networks” in Budapest, the International Input-Output Conference in Bremen, the final project conference Eval-Science in Kiew, and the Kick-off Meeting of the new project Mod-Block-DDR in Bremen with the entire consortium. Another true highlight was the participation of all members of the working group in the seminar on “New Innovation Indicators” in Thiessow with our colleagues from Jena and Ilmenau where we discussed scientific work in progress as well as current policy related issues. Today, we would like to thank you all for the fruitful cooperation and exchange. We wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
