"China’s Rise as a Global Science and Technology Power – Implications for Germany"

Dr. Margot Schüller is Associate at GIGA Institute for Asian Studies in Hamburg.  She specializes on the socio-economic challenges of globalization.  Her field of expertise  include the transformation of the Chinese economic and scientific systems, the Chinese innovation system in international comparison and  the internationalization of Chinese firms and their cross border R&D activities. 

In addition to lectures and seminars on economic development in China and East Asia at German and foreign research institutions, Dr. Schüller is involved in consultancy activities for government and private institutions. She is Member of the  Sino-German Innovation Platform 2017-2019  of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
