The MAPEX Center for Materials and Processes at the University of Bremen links five faculties and six non-university institutes on campus. Our more than 1000 scientific and technical members come from all disciplines of science, engineering, mathematics and computer science. Our scientific goal is the research and development of materials and processes for applications in the field of sustainable mobility and energy; one focus is the astronautical exploration of space.
