CV Julia Siemann

Julia was born in 1988 in Bremen. In 2007, she finished school and started studying the Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Bremen, continuing with the Master of Neurosciences in 2010.

Since 2010 Julia has been associated with the Department of Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neurobiology, where she has since completed an internship and a lab rotation as well as her two final theses and was also employed as a student assistant.

In her Bachelor Thesis in 2010, she theoretically investigated the relation between "Aphasia and Theory of Mind", supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. M. Herrmann and Dipl.-Psych. Charlotte Herzmann. In 2012, she accomplished her Master Thesis "On the Interaction of Attention and Stroop Interference - An Event-Related Potential Study" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. M. Herrmann and Dr. Daniela Galashan.

Since November 2012, Julia works as a doctoral fellow in the DFG Project "On the Interaction of Attentional and Conflict Processing" (Supervisor: Dr. rer.nat. Daniela Galashan).
