(N) Keep talking - our world in conversation
This course is designed to enable participants to engage in discussions on a variety of common subjects in English. The introduction of relevant vocabulary, including conversational language structures, is provided throughout the activities in class. Some examples of themes dealt with include current affairs, world events and popular discussion topics. The use of interesting and challenging written, audio and visual resources will cater for a diversity of activities that are sure to keep everyone talking. Participants are also invited to do presentations on subjects of their choice.
To take part in the course you should be able to have a good general conversation at an intermediate or higher level in English. With the activities in class you will have the chance to revise important functional language and practise for more advanced situations.
