LGBTIAQ – I beg you pardon, what does that mean?

Statistically 5-10 % of the students and university employees are bisexual, lesbian, gay, transgender, intersexual, asexual or queer (LGBTIAQ). Are they visible at our university?

How do I adress people who identify as neither male nor female?

This diversity training:

• will offer you an insight into the life conditions of queer, bisexual, lesbian, gay, asexual, transgender and intersexual people, especially within the university context

• will enable you to detact and avoid prejudices and discriminatory behaviour against LGBTIAQ people

The training concept is interactiv, self-reflective and intersectional, which means that the intersections  of sexual and gender identities with other diversity catagories such as ‚race‘, religion, socioeconomic status, ‚disability‘ and age will be examined and discussed.

The workshop language is English. We are offering a seperate workshop in German language on Jan 21.
