Study Advisory Service with Appointment

If you can arrange it, take advantage of our open office hours! You can simply drop by without an appointment: Mondays and Thursdays between 10 am and 1 pm at the VWG.

Academic Advising with appointment

The Central Student Advisory Service provides information and advice to anyone with questions about studying - on this page you have the opportunity to book a fixed Zoom or presence consultation appointment.


When? Regularly on Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m. + additional appointments depending on the availability of the consultants

How long? A counseling appointment lasts 30 minutes.

 

How do I book an appointment? At the bottom of the German version of this page you will find our bookable dates. Clicking on "Anmeldung" will take you to the registration form for the respective date. If there is no registration button for an appointment, the appointment is already booked. Unfortunately, both the registration form and the confirmation by mail are only sent in German due to technical conditions.

In the registration confirmation we will send you the zoom link (respectively the adress where the live consultation will take place).

Attention: You will not receive a separate reminder - please make a good note of your date!

What do I do if I have not received a registration confirmation? If you have not received an email, please write to the Central Student Advisory Office stating which date you have booked.

Can I cancel my appointment? If you are prevented from attending on the date you booked, please cancel your appointment so that we can reschedule it. In the e-mail with the registration confirmation you will find a link to cancel your appointment. The link for cancelling reads "Stornieren".

Why do I have to specify a consulting topic ("Beratungsthema")? We need this information because we may prepare materials prior to the consultation that could be helpful during the consultation. Please note that we can only provide advice on certain consulting topics (see white box on the right.)

What do I do if I can't get in to Zoom? You can only join the Zoom meeting via the link you received in the registration confirmation email. You will not receive a meeting ID or an identification code. If you have any problems entering, please contact  zsbprotect me ?!uni-bremenprotect me ?!.de.

By the way: Our counseling is of course confidential and free of charge. We look forward to hearing from you!
