Since July 2011 Prof. Dr. Christine Knipping is a professor for Mathematics Education at the University of Bremen, where interdisciplinary research has become a new pillar of her work. Her empirical research foci in Mathematics Education are in the area of Argumentation and Proving Processes, Sociological Perspectives on the mathematical class, Heterogenity and Inclusion of Learners and International Comparative Research.
