Welcome to the Study Centre of Faculty 9 Cultural Studies

The Study Centre of Faculty 9 Cultural Studies is a service and advisory facility for students and lecturers of the faculty.

It offers counselling for students of the faculty and university transfer students on questions regarding examination regulations and study planning. In addition, the Study Centre - in close cooperation with the students and lecturers of the faculty - works to improve the quality of teaching and studies as part of the quality management (QM) of the University of Bremen and the faculty.

Personal couselling
Contact point for content-related and structural problems in the organisation of studies
Realisation of study-related information and counselling events
Participation in the orientation week for first-semester students
Contact for General Studies and Key Qualifications (elective area) at Faculty 9
Creation of study-related information material
Collaboration in improving the quality of teaching and studies
Student surveys, data controlling, support and implementation of evaluations and accreditations of study programmes
Initiation of measures to improve studies and teaching in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Commission at Faculty 9
Participation in the coordination circle of the study centres and practice offices, the AS Commission for Studies, QM committees of the University of Bremen
